Ekalux works by attacking the insect's nervous system. It creates a "short circuit" in the pest's nerves, leading to rapid paralysis.

1. Entry: The chemical enters the pest through direct contact or ingestion of treated leaves.
2. Blockage: It binds to and inhibits the enzyme Acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which is responsible for calming nerves.
3. Elimination: This causes continuous nerve firing (tremors), leading to paralysis and death within minutes to hours.

Note: Because it attacks the nervous system, it is also toxic to humans and animals. Use with caution.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

• Timing: Spray in the late evening. Ekalux is toxic to bees, so avoid spraying when bees are active during the day.
• Mixing: Ekalux has a great "bloom" effect (turns milky white). Do NOT mix with alkaline products like Bordeaux Mixture or Lime Sulphur, or it will stop working immediately.
• Coverage: For Cotton, use high water volume (500L+) to ensure the chemical reaches deep into the canopy.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep away from fish ponds (highly toxic to fish).
